About

Polar Photography is an initiative of ArcticNet, a Network of Centres of Excellence of Canada that brings together scientists and managers in the natural, human health and social sciences with their partners from Inuit organizations, northern communities, federal and provincial agencies and the private sector to study the impacts of climate change and modernization in the coastal Canadian Arctic.

This collection of premium, Rights-Managed photos explores the spectacular beauty of the Arctic and Antarctic and features the scientific research, landscapes, wildlife and people captured through the efforts of the Network as well as other organizations and individuals studying the Polar Regions. Polar Photography is committed to communicating Arctic and Antarctic knowledge to a diverse international audience and to preserving a legacy of iconic and accessible imagery for future generations.
